The John Glenn College of Public Affairs seeks to hire a semester lecturer to teachSkills Public Management and Communication in a Hybrid World (PUBAFRS 7650) inSummer 2026.
Performance Objectives
Planning and organizing instruction in ways that maximize student learning. Meeting scheduled classes and office hoursin accordance withuniversity policy. Ensuring curriculum implementation and course preparationin accordance withschool standards. Preparing homework and exams, evaluating, and returning student workin a timely mannerto promote learning. Maintainingaccuraterecords of students progress andsubmittingfinalgrade rosterin accordance withestablished university deadlines.Maintainingconfidentiality of student informationin accordance withFERPA.
Candidates must be able to perform these duties in a flexible work environment.Courses may be scheduled during mornings, afternoons, or evenings.Candidates mustresidewithin the state of Ohio.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required:
A PhDin Public Affairs or related fieldor will have completed one by the start date
Previousteaching experience at the John Glenn College of Public Affairs
