Department/Organization: 218101 - Dean's Office-School of Law
Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Law School Admissions participates in the planning, organization, and execution of the Law School's J.D. student recruitment program and to coordinate the Admissions Office. Advises prospective students about the Law School's admissions policies and programs and will correspond with prospective students.
Additional Department Summary: Works on particular application programs, planning and executing recruitment events, and/or analyzing data.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of recruitment, university admissions, public relations, marketing, sales, or communications experience; OR Juris Doctorate degree and one (1) year of experience in a legal or education setting.
Skills and Knowledge: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interface with a range of constituents, including prospective students, law students, faculty, staff, alumni, and colleagues at UA and other institutions. Commitment to maintaining a student service-oriented environment in the Admissions Office and the ability to gain strong command of the Customer Relationship Management systems used in the office.
Preferred Qualifications: Juris Doctorate. State Bar license. Experience working in a college admissions or recruiting position.
