Essential Duties:
Maintains relationships with employer partners and develops a targeted prospect list of employers to recruit to campus to increase engagement and provide overall coordination for identifying and communicating career opportunities for students.
Serves as the CoB main point of contact for corporate inquiries for new partners and sponsors.
Work closely with departments and the Career Development Center to connect with employers on scheduling the Dr. Jackie Fouse Connection Court.
Engage with alumni to identify employment opportunities for students.
Develop and maintain a database of employers to be shared with the CoB departments, program advisors and directors.
Provide monthly and annual reporting on employer engagement, student internships, and student placement.
Work with employers to gather information on employment trends, professional skill needs and other labor-related issues that educate students and faculty.
Disseminate this advice through the BCOM Professionalism Labs.
Identify opportunities for career development activities.
Assist with providing potential guest speakers for classes, Business Week, Accounting Firm Night, Finance and Real Estate Week, etc.
Collaborate with the university Corporate Relations Director to enhance opportunities for the college. Solicit corporate partnerships.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business related field with three (3) years of relevant work experience or equivalent relevant experience.
Sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Business bachelor's degree from an AACSB/EQUIS/AMBA accredited institution with five (5) years of direct experience in a business, military, educational institution, or non-profit organization.
Five (5) or more years of recruiting and/or sales experience.
