Position Summary: This position ensures effective internal and external communication, design, and marketing by developing and collaborating on communication efforts within Eat Smart Idaho and the University of Idaho. This position advances the reputation of the University of Idaho and Eat Smart Idaho through purposeful and creative messaging that is tied to strategic initiatives and builds campus wide and public understanding and support for the teaching, research, outreach, and engagement mission of the University of Idaho in general and Eat Smart Idaho specifically. The position will work in a collaborative environment with existing team members, throughout the state, to create impactful communications.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with video and photo production and editing.
Experience with media data collection and interpretation such as Google Analytics.
Experience in website development.
Experience marketing and advertising.
Experience working independently as well as collaboratively with employees at all levels of an organization and outside agencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in graphic design, marketing or a media field.
Experience with low resource audiences and working cooperatively with support systems, networks, and agency programs available for low-income people/low resource audience.
Experience with graphic design techniques, graphic software, and computer-generated graphics.
Experience designing with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, iMovie or similar platforms.
