Position Summary: The Senior Member Services Community Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and executing events and programs designed to promote healthy aging of older adults, working with external entities, organizations and individuals. This position will raise the public profile of MultiCare and by cultivating community relationships. This position will support activities benefitting MultiCare volunteer services. Reporting to the Supervisor of Senior Member Services (Celebrate Seniority) and maintains broad ranging relationships across MHS campuses and public constituencies throughout MultiCares West and East Pierce service areas, including South King.
Minimum Requirements: Two years experience supervising volunteers, proven outcomes in population health strategies, event planning, presenting and/or public relations Experience using a volunteer data base preferred Raisers Edge and Volgistics
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Bachelors Degree in community health, education, communications or related field Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
