THE POSITION
Airport Operations Officers and Senior Airport Operations Officer may be assigned to both Camarillo and Oxnard airports in rotating shifts depending on business needs. Under supervision, they patrol the airports; monitor operations; provide security, safety, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF) and emergency assistance when needed; greet, assist, and provide information to the public in the performance of routine duties and special assignments; assure compliance with airport rules, regulations, and ordinances and perform related work as required. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in airport operations leading to a solid understanding of Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Security Administration regulations including knowledge of FAR
