WashU's Division of Student Affairs seeks a soccer coaching professional for the position of Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer. The Division of Student Affairs advances the educational mission of the university through resources and experiences outside the classroom that prepare our students for lifelong success.
The Menâ™s Soccer Assistant Coach will serve as the primary assistant for the menâ™s soccer program; responsible for the program development, instruction, and coaching in an effort to prepare them physically and mentally to compete safely and successfully for conference and national titles, and the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
This is a 10-month, full-time position during the months of August through May.

Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, conduct, and evaluate practice sessions; provide in-game tactical instruction.
Teach sport-specific techniques, advanced skills, and competition strategies to individuals and groups.
Analyze film of future opponents to prepare detailed scouting reports and game strategies.
Recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Organize team travel, manage equipment/uniform inventory.
Assist the head coach with aspects of budget management and purchasing.
Maintain strict adherence to all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.
Collaborate with support staff to monitor and promote success.
Perform other duties as assigned by Head Coach and/or Athletic Director.
