Urban Arts Space (UAS) facilitates experimental galleries that adapt to the dynamic needs of the arts curriculum and communities served with a mission to challenge perceptions, deepen learning, and increase access to the arts. In alignment with this mission, the director provides leadership and strategic management, supporting and promoting the academic mission, arts curricula and research, cultural leadership, and artistic and intellectual enrichment of the College of Arts and Sciences (ASC) and university. The director oversees UASs ongoing development as an academic arts resource that is integrally connected to teaching, learning, and scholarship, and central to the Universitys campus and community engagement efforts.
