Typically requires Bachelor's degree in field related to the discipline of the college, unit or department with professional communications and marketing experience.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Arts, Communications, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in marketing and communications or related field
• Demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity, such as the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Understanding of design principles as related to the development of marketing materials.
• Experience using Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, or similar applications
• Demonstrate strong decision-making skills, including setting priorities against established criteria and managing multiple projects/activities/deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with varied audiences such as faculty, students, and industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills, including copywriting and editing
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience in managing websites and other digital outreach platforms
