The Employee Engagement & Learning & Development Leadis responsible for supporting and enhancing employee engagement and developmentby designing, delivering, and evaluating strategic learning and development initiatives. This role supports a culture of growth, inclusion, and engagement through innovative training programs, customized development plans, and meaningful engagement experiences. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory, and facilitation to drive organizational effectiveness and employee success. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of three days on campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement impactful training programs that support employees throughout their lifecycle.
Design and expand professional learning initiatives that equip employees with the critical knowledge, skills, and tools aligned to their roles--particularly those impacting the student experience, such as Title IX compliance, and inclusive practices.
Work collaboratively with Workday Analysts, Human Resource Business Partners, campus partners, and subject matter experts to identify performance, skills, knowledge, information, and attitude gaps of the workforce and design learning to close the gap.
Develop engaging, scalable learning materials for leadership and professional development using tools such as Articulate, Genially, and LMS platforms.
Plan and lead meetings, discussions, and outreach to stake holders and subject matter experts to move training initiatives to completion.
Facilitate in-person and or hybrid remote training sessionsfocused on topics including communication, inclusive practices, team dynamics, and leadership development.
Create highly interactive, engaging, and effective new training content utilizing modern learning technologies (i.e., eLearning, distance learning and video.)
Apply adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to both synchronous and asynchronous learning formats.
Serve as an expert facilitator for development tools including CliftonStrengths, DISC Communication Styles, Points of You, and Moving Motivators.
Lead the design and implementation of wellness and mentoring programs and customized team development strategies.
Support organizational change and culture-building efforts through strategic programming and experiential learning.
Evaluate program effectiveness using data-based metrics, and continuous improvement efforts.
Assist with employeeengagementby supporting projects and committees that work to enhance internal communications, create opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, and facilitate both formal and informal employee interactions that build a sense of belonging.

An effective Team Member in this role will:
Focus on improving the employee lifecycle experience through impactful training, onboarding, and development programs. Partners with HR and business leaders to ensure employees are supported and engaged throughout their journey.

Lead team facilitation, DISC and StrengthsFinder expertise, mentoring program development, adult learning principles
Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning theory to create engaging content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in learning & development, organizational development, or a related HR function.
Proficiency with eLearning software and technology including Articulate, Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia, Microsoft PowerPoint, and the Adobe Creative Suite, is
Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and digital learning tools.
Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated experience leading sessions for diverse audiences, including executive leaders.
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in program design and delivery.
Experience creating engaging and effective training for a variety of learners to drive high level organization goals.
Strong writing, editing, and visual design skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to accomplish multiple tasks through effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment and work with a high level of independence.
Ability to work with all levels of an organization, offering a high level of customer service and communication to properly focus training development.
Experience engaging subject matter experts to create effective training.
Excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to present complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Ability to effectively facilitate classroom and remote training delivery.
