Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience in study abroad administration and/or advising at the university/college level; and knowledge of best practices in education abroad. Preferred: experience working on student/faculty academic travel. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Evidence of excellent program management and advising skills and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously within a demanding environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, faculty, students, parents and other agencies and the community while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Experience with online study abroad enrollment management systems, and university-level student information systems.
Ability to think creatively, prioritize workload and work independently with minimum supervision.
Excellent written, verbal and aural communication skills including the ability to deliver professional presentations.
Administrative skills, including strategic planning and evaluation, budgeting, and knowledge of public relations.
Detail-oriented and knowledge of financial aid regulations and risk management.
Additional Comments Regarding Position

Must be available and willing to work some weekends and/or after hours, including overnight travel.
