Job Description Job Function 01: General Knowledge Criteria- Has thorough knowledge of all department areas and their functions. Demonstrates ability to properly and safely operate all department equipment. Assures IAHCSMM, FDA, APIC, AAMI, OSHA, JCAHO and department policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Demonstrates knowledge of fire, & disaster plans. Can direct staff in prioritizing their workload. Assures all equipment is referred to Clinical Engineering for safety check or repair when needed.
