We are in search of a veterinarian with a passion for cats and shelter medicine.

We save lives daily through spay/neuter programs, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support.   All experience levels will be considered; shelter medicine experience, a plus!

**Position: Veterinarian (Full, Part-Time or Relief)**

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide medical services including exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Ensure proper medication administration.
- Continuously improve medical management and care quality.
- Oversee shelter drug and supply inventory, meeting DEA requirements.
- Guide and train staff on medical problem-solving. ‍
- Foster teamwork and public relations.
- Maintain licensing and complete continuing education.
- Ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

**Qualifications:**
- Valid California veterinary license and DEA license.
- Malpractice insurance.
- Ability to thrive in a shelter environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Professionalism and good judgment.
