HR Specialist (Maternity Cover for 8 months, Assistant Manager to Manager Level) The HR Specialist role is responsible for partnering with HRBP to provide HR support. This role will be critical in delivery of HR processes and activities to ensure successful implementation and alignment with Cushman & Wakefieldâ™s people priorities.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in tandem with HRBP, you will:
Provide full HR support and advisory services to the Company business as well as a range of operational HR services and solutions
Provide administrative support for Compensation & Benefits processes including bonus and salary reviews, year-end settlement, and administration of benefits programs (eg. Insurance program, etc.)
Process payment to vendors regularly (eg. Payroll, employee welfare, EAP, Manpower, etc)
Assist in executing company HR initiatives and programs and/or any other task assigned
Coordinate with regional HR teams, and other C&W offices on any ad hoc requests for information
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with C&W DRIVE values.
Payroll
Manage the entire payroll process via an outsourced vendor.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing by Payroll Vendor
Verify and compute staff remuneration/claims for leavers and other off-cycle payments
Payroll reconciliation
Ensure payroll records are correct in HRIS for payroll processing
Manage the government related reimbursements such as childcare, maternity, reservist pay, etc
Support issuing certificates of employment
Manage monthly Retirement Benefit process
Complete all necessary reports pertaining to payroll/costing
On-boarding & Off-boarding
Make sure document collection is completed for every new hire
Support execution of buddy program
File and update documents in HR personnel folders
Calculate and communicate annual leave balance for off-boarding
Undertake off-boarding activities in a timely manner and exit administration
Learning & Development
Coordinate training registrations, claims administration, and maintenance of employee records
HRIS Maintenance
Maintain accurate employee information in WORKDAY
Conduct system audits to ensure data accuracy in all HR systems
Troubleshoot and assist employees with queries related to HRIS
Assist in testing any new modules to be deployed in HR systems.
HR Operations
Respond to HR inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate and participate in employee engagement programs and activities
Participate in ad-hoc global HR projects if required
Background and Experience
At least 3 years relevant Human Resources Generalist role or similar in a large diverse organization
Hands-on experience with HR system (Workday preferred)
Provide HR operational advice that drives business performance
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Excellent written/verbal communication and English skills
Data analysis via Excel (pivot table, vlookup, etc)
Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of Korea Labor Laws, experience, and capability to lead & support businesses on employee relations
High level of attention to detail
