THIS POSITION IS FUNDED VIA MULTIPLE GRANTS. EMPLOYMENT IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTINUED FUNDING FROM GRANT PROVIDERS. Hybrid and remote options will be considered. The Voinovich School works to find solutions to challenges facing communities, the economy, and the environment. The Impact Analyst serves on a multidisciplinary team of faculty, staff, and students to perform applied research, data compilation/analysis, project management, oral presentations, & report writing in a variety of social and public service areas. The Impact Analyst will serve as a project manager for a multidisciplinary applied research team specializing in projects incorporating quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods.

Duties include:
1. Project manager for multiple projects at one time including projects incorporating 3 or more staff/faculty members.
2. Designs and conducts qualitative and quantitative applied research protocols incorporating data analysis, individual interview focus group and survey instrumentation development and testing.
3. Analyzes results of research including written documentation and verbal presentations of findings.
4. Communicates with project team-members, external stakeholders, and project sponsors. Identifies best practices and successful implementation strategies and disseminates the information.
5. Takes leadership role in identifying, writing, and supporting grant writing, coordinating partnerships, metric and data collection, grant reporting. Responsible for supervising students contributing to applied research projects and development of deliverables for clients; serves as supervisor for up to 3 research associates in data checking final client deliverables and supervises all project timelines. Candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to work collaboratively within multiple project teams as well as work independently. The ideal candidate must have a high attention to detail and should have the ability to draw information from multiple sources to identify potential solutions for identified issues; skills in collecting data for tracking and reporting of project outcomes; ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to accomplish project goals; ability to establish and maintain collegial relationships with senior management, co-workers, project sponsors; ability to accurately communicate verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.

Access to reliable internet to support remote work when needed. Ability to travel is required; understanding of and be able to travel, most often locally or within the state of Ohio to conduct research and meet with project sponsors; may occasionally be asked to travel out of state to staff college events or national conferences. Ability to use Microsoft Office products.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in any field with at least three (3) years of relevant experience. An equivalent amount of education and experience will also be considered.

Desirable but not required: Ph.D. or equivalent. Four or more years relevant experience, experience with qualitative applied research and/or experience with quantitative applied research.
