The Office of Advancement directly supports UNCSA’s mission and strategic priorities by building meaningful relationships with a variety of constituents and developing opportunities at all levels of alumni, volunteer, and philanthropic engagement. The Office of Advancement works closely with the UNCSA Foundation, which provides oversight of philanthropic gifts to UNCSA, including gift processing and records management. The Donor Relations Coordinator will help to plan and execute comprehensive stewardship efforts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, the nation’s first and only publicly funded arts conservatory. Working with the Donor Relations and Communications Manager, the Donor Relations Coordinator will ensure that donors are thanked and celebrated in a timely and consistent manner, helping every UNCSA supporter understand the impact of their giving and that their generosity is deeply appreciated and their trust in UNCSA is well-placed.
· Managing daily and weekly acknowledgement letter processes.
· Merging and editing content for letters, postcards, and other correspondence.
· Creating bi-weekly lists of conservatory- and unit-specific donations and sharing those lists with the offices of the deans of UNCSA’s five arts conservatories, as well as the Division of Liberal Arts, the Division of High School Academics, and other units across campus.
· Documenting donor actions and correspondence in Raiser’s Edge.
· Collecting quotes and thank-you letters from scholarship recipients on a semester basis.
· Managing the partnership between the Office of Advancement and The Associates, UNCSA’s longstanding volunteer organization.
· Assisting the Donor Relations and Communications Manager in the development of annual endowment and scholarship reports.
· Making recommendations for changes and improvements in the Office of Advancement’s stewardship plan based on feedback from donors.
· Helping to track open rates, click rates, and ROI metrics for digital and print communications.
· Taking part in all-hands-on-deck donor stewardship events, including the Annual Scholarship Luncheon.
· Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Preferred Qualifications:
One to three years of donor relations experience and experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Raiser’s Edge NXT.
Previous higher ed experience.
Experience with scholarship management processes within higher education and scholarship/stewardship management tools such as Academic Works/Stewardship.
Experience with other CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Banner.
High level experience with tools used for storing, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data, such as Excel, Tableau, and/or Microsoft BI.
