Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions – New Brunswick. The position will report to the Director for Applicant Evaluation.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Assists the Director with all aspects of the managing the online applications and decision status notification process for 10 New Brunswick undergraduate colleges.
Provides first-line supervision and training for decision audit and application review staff.
Performs other assignments as required by the Director of Admissions and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management.
Assists the Director in communicating with university personnel representing State and Federal Government Relations, deans, academic, and administrative units.
Responds to requests of information concerning the status of admissions applications.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
Five (5) years of professional undergraduate competitive admissions experience in a large, multi-campus educational institution, including exposure to working with faculties and academic administrators.
