The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber is looking for a dynamic sales leader to establish and manage strong relationships between the Chamber and its investor community. The Vice President-Membership & Investor Relations is responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive sales program, member services and investor engagement/retention program. Proven leadership of a metric driven sales team is paramount to this role. The Vice President partners with the Chamber leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop and implement engagement strategies for existing and prospective investors. They will help lead our strategy and revenue growth plans that ensure the Chamber’s long-term success.
Four-year degree from an academic institution; marketing, communications, public relations, or business degree preferred.
Minimum of five years’ experience in sales management; chamber industry, political campaigns, non-profit organization or relationship-oriented positions.
Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding experiences.
Excellent project management, people management and leadership skills.
Ability to set targets and manage sales team metrics/goals to meet organization needs.
Experience developing and implementing member engagement and budget plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are paramount, as the Vice President will represent the organization through frequent correspondence and interactions with the membership and investor community.
Meticulous attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy and consistency in all communications and deliverables.
Strategic thinker with the ability to think big picture while also managing day-to-day responsibilities.
Ability to consistently prioritize activities and handle multiple responsibilities within a specific timeframe.
Willingness to travel as necessary. Position requires extended work hours.
Working knowledge of membership or CRM database required.
Demonstrated track record of building integrity driven key relationships within the community.
