Responsibilities
This position will provide high level analytical, judgment, creativity, organization, and administrative support to the Respiratory Care Services (RCS) leadership team and director. The incumbent will function as an advisor to the unit and administration. This position will perform a variety of analytical and public relations tasks in support of day-to-day operations and special projects. This position will also supervise the Respiratory Technicians, represent respiratory care operations and/or director(s) to internal and external constituencies to manage and accomplish the work of the RCS operations and RCS leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related area and /or equivalent experience / training.
Supervisory and/or leadership skills to supervise, train, motivate and evaluate employees.
Experience working with a broad scope of complex personnel and related functions, including evaluating, interpreting, and implementing administrative policies and procedures.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of organization's processes, protocols and procedures related to personnel management within labor contracts and personnel policy.
Demonstrated experience and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising, and counseling to effectively motivate others and work with diverse group of individuals.
Experience with project management and managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously to meet deadlines, manage multiple requests and priorities, and to maintain productivity.
Demonstrated skills to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify resolution.
Experience and knowledge of but not limited to: Word, Excel, Access, and other programs within the Microsoft Office Suite; PeopleSoft (HRIS), and Ecotime (time and attendance)
Analytical skills to review, develop and generate monthly management reports of personnel data for review.
Strong word-processing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills to compose reports, correspondence and summaries in a comprehensive organized format.

Preferred Qualifications
Advanced understanding of a hospital and clinics organization, both operational and political.
