Under the Director of Strategic Partnerships on the Toronto Campus, the Experiential Partnerships Specialist (Developer) will source new partnerships for Custom Corporate Learning Collaborating with various custom learning enterprises across Northeastern, you will identify new learning engagement opportunities, qualify them, and close them. The right candidate will possess a variety of sales skills including relationship building, self-discipline, collaborative selling, and creative problem solving. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing regional team that will be helping to build the experiential corporate learning function for Northeastern University in Toronto. You'll be asked to take on a wide range of responsibilities as well: hunter and farmer, proposal designer and presenter, leader and collaborator.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates for the Experiential Partnerships Specialist (Developer) position will have:
Experience interfacing with executive-level leaders as well as data practitioners and learning & development program experts, so understanding your audience and tailoring your message accordingly is paramount.
The core KPI for this role is a revenue target. You will be selling customized learning solutions. Each opportunity is different, so an ability to understand the prospect's needs (stated or unstated) and connect them with the right program is crucial. You will focus primarily on supporting organizations' digital transformation goals through our core learning domains of data, analytics, AI, and project management.
You will need to be agile, creative, efficient, curious, and a clear communicator.
Able working in a highly collaborative role with external partners, students, staff, faculty, and alumni.
Flexibility and an interest in wearing multiple hats; Toronto is a growing campus, so this role will require comfort with evolving priorities.
Excellent skills in relationship building, marketing, public relations, and database management (Salesforce).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3-5 years' experience supporting corporate learning/career development.
