Prior recruitment experience at a four-year institution
Experience in college recruitment or related experiences in counseling, sales, marketing, public relations, communications, or education
Effective, empathetic, and engaging communicator
Experience as a Student Ambassador, Resident Assistant, Orientation Leader or similar student role
Strong computing skills and efficiency utilizing computing applications on various systems and programs (e.g., Slate, Microsoft Office Suite, Banner, Google Suite, spreadsheets, etc.)
Commitment to student-centered quality customer service
Experience using various social media platforms
Highly motivated to share a love of Appalachian
Sense of humor
Experience working with all student students with a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for all students at Appalachian State.

Work Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with night and weekend work during fall and spring travel seasons)
