A bachelor's degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A master's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
This position may or may not be considered for remote work - the final decision will be made by the business unit. There are openings in multiple business units across the University. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Oversee the execution of the GPE digital content strategy, including planning, creating, assigning, and digitally distributing content that supports the mission and goals of GPE.
Regularly write and edit news and blog articles, profiles, Q&As, and other forms of content to support the GPE content marketing strategy and SEO growth.
Grow and engage user base on GPE social media accounts, including designing posts, posting content, monitoring engagement, reviewing, and reporting analytics, monitoring and researching emerging trends, and managing a social media calendar.
Assist with managing GPE websites, including utilizing the Drupal content management system to make updates and collaborating with departmental partners content needs and best practices.
Create graphics, video content, imagery, and HTML for the creation of creative content, infographics, engaging social media posts and more.
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications on a variety of communications projects, including events, publications, and GPE community development initiatives.
Compile data, analyze and report on content performance, SEO and social media use.
Additional requirements:
Excellent copywriting, grammar and editing skills; strong verbal skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, email, social media networking, and scheduling applications, video and photography editing as required.
Working knowledge of brand adherence and ability to organize multiple layers of copy and maintain consistency in voice, positioning and brand.
Demonstrated proficiency in AP Style writing and copyediting.
