Job Description: The History Department in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University invites applications for the Phyllis Backer Professorship in Jewish Studies. We welcome applications for a position at the assistant or early associate level in Modern (1865 to present) U.S. Jewish History to begin Fall 2024.Responsibilities will include two courses per semester, research, publications, committee work, and participation in the university's Jewish Studies Program.
