The Learning Experience Designer drives L&D's SharePoint and internal communication strategies, online resource development, and visual and multimedia design. The Learning Experience Designer partners with teams across Camden to build integrated experiences and solutions that improve performance, to optimize learning and development processes, and to facilitate data-driven decision making. They are responsible for developing communication and learning content including graphic design, animation, and the development and continuous improvement of L&D's SharePoint sites. They use multiple platforms and industry best practices to validate, organize, package, promote, and deliver current and relevant content. They have an eye for visual design, a mind for content creation, and a commitment to clear, concise, and engaging forms of communication. This individual reports to the Director of Learning Innovation.
Essential Functions
Lead L&D's SharePoint strategy, train team members in other groups to update and design SharePoint content, and maintain L&D SharePoint sites and associated resources
Own L&D internal communications and marketing strategies and provide graphic design support including promo graphics and gifs, event signage, and email newsletters
Improve the learning experience with mobile and SharePoint apps, interactive reports, and Teams integrations
Perform user testing to evaluate learning solutions and adapt them to maximize the user experience
Develop multimedia learning content and communications including (but not limited to): graphic design, animation, videography and audio production
Develop templates and graphics libraries to streamline the creation of learning content and empower business partners to effectively communicate
Organize, package, promote, and deliver current and relevant content in a variety of channels
Offer technical, creative, and logistical recommendations, both within the team and externally to other stakeholders, on the design and production of learning experiences and content
Design dynamic reports from learning data that empower leaders and team members to track progress towards learning goals
Partner with IT to automate learning processes like tracking, feedback collection, and coaching recommendations
Requirements
Two years creating engaging and effective learning experiences in a corporate setting
Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field
Experience with instructional design, user experience design, and audio/video production
Consistent record of accomplishment of innovation
Three to five years of experience in graphic design and motion design
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Audition preferred
Two years of experience in data analysis and presentation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
