Under general direction, supports communications, public relations, and marketing efforts to the University community on behalf of the division; establishes and maintains communication venues including Web site and other publications; serves as liaison with other University departments including MARCOM to design, develop, and publish University-wide communications. Writes, edits, and publishes communications to the University community; maintains the overall Web site including research, development, editing, and publication of Web pages using the University CMS tool and approved design standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create original content, including writing, editing, and design for SLU Career Services websites, social media channels, and other print and electronic communications. This includes presentations, reports, website content, social media content, templates, branded materials, publications, and marketing for program development and service delivery, which include branding that is consistent with Saint Louis University brand guidelines.
Capture and promote stories of students, alumni, and corporate partners.
Proactively seek examples of both student and employer success stories to promote via social and digital media.
Post and keep social media platforms (primarily Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) updated.
Evaluate social media metrics and performance, supplying regular updates and pivoting strategy as needed.
Recruit, hire, supervise and evaluate communications student interns as needed.
Publicize Career Services activities, events, and programs with communications, materials, and digital promotion to the University students, broader campus community, external audiences, and partners/audiences as needed.
When applicable, work with MARCOM graphic designers, photographers, videographers, writers, and other content creators to develop multimedia content to augment staff resources and support content creation.
Manage and catalogue digital assets, primarily photo and video.
Perform other duties as needed to enhance and foster the goals and mission of SLU Career Services.

Multi-media design knowledge preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field. One (1) year of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area.
