Summary of Position:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Director, Client Success, Market Insightto increase company revenue by developing high-level relationships with large and strategic companies.
The primary responsibilities are leadership of the AVIXA Global Partner Program and pro-active selling of AVIXA Market Intelligence products. Global Partner Program scope includes targeting and recruiting new Partner candidates, renewal of existing Partners, and fulfillment and administration of the program throughout the year. You will be attending regular meetings with clients and advisors, assisting in the delivery of market research, discussing client business objectives, notifying partners of key business developments and conducting periodic business reviews in a high-touch account management model. This position will also be responsible for the selling of AXIVA Market Intelligence products to targeted accounts.
Experience in the professional Audio/Video industry is strongly desired, including high-level experience as a manufacturer, distributor, or integration solution provider. To be successful as a Director, Client Success, Market Insight, you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen. Ultimately, an exceptional Director, Client Success, Market Insight, should be adept at negotiating sound business deals with client executives as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing and managing Global Partnerships.
Pro-active selling of AVIXA Market Intelligence to targeted companies.
Building solid relationships with business leader level customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
Working in a multi-dimensional matrix organization to develop and serve strategic accounts.
Advising marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market reach.
Leveraging sales automation resources including Salesforce to maintain shared accounts and sales pipeline and manage contracts and programs.
Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs) and contracts.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Previous working experience as Senior or Key Account Manager for at least 8 years, delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Professional AV industry experience and familiarity of channel and business structure
At least 10 years combined experience in senior leadership roles
Previous experience selling or using commercial market intelligence products and services is strongly desired.
Proven success in business development, sales, and marketing
Experience of managing major national accounts at head office level as well as experience managing high-performing sales professionals
Highly proficient in using Salesforce, managing sales pipelines, sales forecasts, and accounts.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong and trustworthy relationships with important clients
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree is advantageous
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong business acumen. Detail-oriented and persuasive
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Starting base salary range is $125,000-$145,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience. Full benefits are available and the position is eligible for the Director level annual bonus program.
