The Marketing, Communications and Digital department is responsible for the overall image management and communications and marketing activities on behalf of the entire academic medical center. The Web Management Associate will work with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Centers Digital Strategy & Marketing Automation team, a collaboration between the Marketing, Communications & Digital and Information Technology departments, to work on various web and mobile properties, including the College of Medicines website and the Intranet (MyTools). The Web Management Associate position is responsible for developing and implementing robust digital content for the College of Medicine.
Position Summary
The Web Management Associate for the College of Medicine is responsible for creating content and executing a compelling internet experience that excites prospective learners, faculty and researchers, helps build the colleges national reputation and informs internal stakeholders. They will report to the Senior Director, User Experience Design for the Wexner Medical Center and work closely with the Chief of Staff of the College of Medicine, Growth Marketing, Internal Communications and other stakeholders to create strategic marketing objectives and content for the website and then design and build the website in collaboration with the User Experience Design team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field or equivalent experience. Two years of marketing and communications experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Experience working with a content management system (CMS). Ability to work independently and as part of a team and interact with staff and faculty (at all levels). Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Outlook, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with web analytics tools (like Google Analytics) and using data to make decisions. Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
