Responsibilities:
The Associate/Senior Associate Director of Admission is responsible for the following:
â—Â Â Â Â Â Reading and evaluating applications for admission;
â—Â Â Â Â Â Serving as voting members of the Board of Admission during the selection process;
â—Â Â Â Â Â Developing regional recruitment strategies;
â—Â Â Â Â Directly manage junior staff;
â—Â Â Â Â Â Conducting group information sessions for prospective students and families;
â—Â Â Â Â Â Representing the university at high schools and community based organizations, admission workshops, college fairs, and Introduction to Brown and Brown Near You events, virtually and in-person
â—Â Â Â Â Plan admission processes and projects and implement strategy in special areas of expertise.
This is a dual graded position posting. The candidate's qualifications/experience will determine if the position is filled at the Associate/Senior Associate Director of Admission level.
Qualifications:
Associate Director of Admission
Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s Degree required
8 years of college admission experience, with 6 years of college admission experience at a highly selective institution
Senior Associate Director of Admission
Education and Experience:
Bachelorâ™s Degree required.
Ten years of experience in education/higher education fields, with 8 years of college admission experience at a highly selective institution
