Develop a deep collaborative relationship with ARDâ™s major gifts fundraising leaders and individual gift officers. Develop and pursue shared objectives and goals for pool development within this pool.
Manage a team of research liaisons responsible for identifying new major gift leads and building high quality, interest-based pools, and portfolios for major gift fundraisers.
Contribute to a top tier pool development program that efficiently drives the movement of prospects through the development cycle. Collaborate with ARDâ™s prospect management team to establish priorities for pool growth and pursue them.
Leverage Salesforce and associated technologies to improve the efficiency with which ARD provides research support to the ARD fundraising effort.Â
Develop and oversee strategies to apply predictive modeling, analytics, and artificial intelligence to prospecting practices, in partnership with the Analytics and Technology Solutions team.
Research, analyze, and integrate diverse information and data from varied sources, collaborate across the University to determine the appropriate communication vehicles and language to effectively articulate the Presidentâ™s vision, ideas, initiatives, and long-term goals for the University.
Act as a key strategist in ARDâ™s prospect identification efforts. Work closely with major gift fundraisers to develop high quality qualification strategies and support their implementation.
Hire, manage, and evaluate staff. Train Research Analyst(s) in research methodologies and department protocols for document production and management.
Seek opportunities for professional development that will enhance job performance, including building networks within the University and with colleagues at peer institutions and with an eye towards broadly diversifying the advancement profession.
Has a deep understanding of prospect research, prospect management, strategic planning and market research on donors and prospects.
Develops, maintains, and updates information on new and existing prospects, solving problems as they arise.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Coursework in project management, business, finance, economics, analytics, library and information science, or non-profit management.
Experience:
Minimum five years of professional experience in nonprofit management, development, alumni relations, marketing, public relations, sales, or similar professional work experience.
Experience with data analysis and communicating complex topics to non-technical people.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Demonstrated skill and knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, the internal workings of the University as well as the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development, including the University's donor relationship management system and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions
This position has a hybrid work schedule which includes weekly in office presence.
Standard office environment.
