Chamberlin Architects is seeking a Proposal & Marketing Coordinator with excellent graphic design vision and attention to detail to join our fourteen-person, employee-owned firm in Grand Junction, CO. Previous experience working for a mid-sized to large Architecture or Engineering firm is preferred.

The Proposal & Marketing Coordinator works with firm leadership as the proposal and marketing lead with responsibility to produce pre-qualification documents, proposals, and presentation materials to ensure winning proposals (RFQ, SOQ, Technical Proposals, Interviews, etc). The goal of this position is to develop compelling submittals by way of message and graphic development. The preferred candidate is to have superior capabilities in organization, strategy, capture planning, message development, proposal management, and graphic development. Other duties include editing written content, updating website and social media activities.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities (in order of importance)
Support and/or lead Go No Go discussions, Capture Plans, and Business Sector strategy.

Coordinate overall preparation of proposals for the firm to ensure deadlines are met by marketing, proposal lead, and technical contributors, and the proposal package is complete, and responsive to RFP requirements.
Manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work with architectural staff to collect essential project details and stories.
Update and maintain lead tracking databases with relevant information on targeted clients, contacts and opportunities in advance of RFP / RFQ release.
Scan media for new project opportunities.
Coordinate overall proposal process to ensure timely delivery of a winning document that fully complies with the client’s formal & informal requirements.
Manage and coordinate the development and maintenance of information databases (SharePoint, resumes, images) to facilitate proposal preparation.
Assist in the preparation of marketing material and presentations for client interviews/presentations.
Participate in client debriefings on both successful and unsuccessful pursuits & distribute lessons learned to improve proposal process.
Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies.
Develop and execute integrated marketing and public relations efforts to promote our people, projects and trends.
Work with the firm leadership to identify and execute strategic advertising opportunities to drive robust brand awareness for the project types we serve.
Organize photo shoots of recently completed projects.
Carry out research on the clients and markets we work in including education, municipal, healthcare, and federal.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design and/or relevant marketing experience in the AEC industry.
3-5+ years working in the field of marketing and proposal preparation experience at a mid-size to large Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) firm.
Superior technical writing and graphic skills with knowledge of the RFQ, RFP, proposal process.
Eye for editorial detail and graphic consistency across materials.
Proficiency in production software including: Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) and MS Office. InDesign skills should be confident, creative, and quick.
Strong personal initiative and problem-solving skills
