Assistant Specialist - Diaz Garcia LabThe grapevine breeding program at UC Davis conducts research and breeding for the development of improved grape rootstocks and scions. To this end, we maintain a large germplasm collection of grape cultivars and wild species and implement high-throughput methodologies for phenotyping and genotyping, both of which generate massive amounts of complex data.
