Position Description: Center X is a community of educators, in the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA, working to transform public schooling to create a more just, equitable, and humane society. Under the general direction of the Computer Science Program Director, candidate will work with critical aspects of public affairs and policy in order to scale up computer science curriculum and professional development programs in California and across the United States and ensure its accessibility to low-income students of color. Major responsibilities include implementing a statewide strategy to drive an effective campaign of public awareness, research and school/district implementation; building broad based community support and engagement, supporting the Director in developing professional development programs, and conducting and disseminating interdisciplinary research. Other responsibilities include planning and facilitating symposia, lectures, and conferences.

The target salary range for this position is between the posted minimum and $7,916.67 monthly.
