The School of Professional Studies (SPS) at NYU is seeking an Associate Director of Partnerships that will work closely with the Director of Career Pathways Innovation and Public Policy, the Assistant Dean, the Admissions department, and the SPS Marketing team to grow external relationships supporting NYU SPSâ™s degree and continuing education pathways programs. This individual will collaboratively execute strategies to identify, develop and cultivate high-value relationships with educational entities and organizations, as well as employers to refer students for high school programs with pathways into SPS, including continuing education and/or degree programs. Track, analyze, and report on partner prospecting and results and help benchmark data to advise internal and external stakeholders on best practices to support growth. In addition, the Associate Director will manage the Program Administrator, Pathways Programs.
This is a 3-year fixed-term position.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 5+ years relevant work experience in business development, account management, sales, marketing, human resources, corporate relations, career development, or admissions.
Preferred Experience: 7+ years Background in or understanding educational programs and partnerships at the secondary and/or postsecondary level, graduate education, marketing, or partner training/facilitation is desirable.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: The ability to understand fundamental concepts of several technical/computational fields of study. Candidates must possess a proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships. Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication, and interpersonal and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Understanding of high school and higher education landscapes, education nonprofits, and the ability to identify opportunities for and facilitate cross-sector partnerships related to education and career-connected learning is a plus. Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, social media, and presentation skills.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $120,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
