The University of New Hampshireâs nationally ranked Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics is seeking a dynamic writer to join its team of marketing & communications professionals. If you enjoy writing everything from features to news, taking complex topics and making them approachable for a general audience, and crafting marketing copy, then this is the job for you.In close collaboration with the college director of communications and marketing, the content producer will create and oversee the writing of stories for the collegeâs primary audiences, including but not limited to, peer AACSB business school deans and directors, external and internal media, prospective students and their families, alumni and donors, key college stakeholders, enrolled students, faculty and staff. A focus will be on writing stories on faculty research and on assisting the Deanâs Office with a multitude of communications projects. Content will include news releases, web copy, social media content, and written content for print and digital marketing projects.This creative professional will:Work in collaboration with the collegeâ communications director to develop and execute a content marketing plan that guides story development for all communications and marketing channels, to include peer and alumni e-newsletters, social channels, external media, and the website.Work in partnership with UNHâs Marketing team to ensure Paul College stories are disseminated to the general and business media, are included in UNH Today, and in publications such as the UNH Magazine and Impact report.Work in partnership with UNHâs Public Affairs team to ensure select faculty research is shared with industry partners and government leaders.In partnership with the Paul Senior Multimedia Manager strengthen the collegeâs LinkedIn strategy and content to communicate high-quality faculty research and innovative college curricular innovations.
3+ years of professional writing experience.Bachelorâs degree, preferably in journalism, English, or communications.Strong writing skillsâwith attention to audience, tone, and nuance.Skilled in imagining and creating content across all channels and platforms.Must be technology savvy.
