Job Description:
.Write, edit and create copy and content to support the college's marketing plan.
.Writes College press releases under the guidance of the Director of Communications.
· Develops content for social media platforms.
· Creates content for College print materials, digital communications and website.
· Works with staff, faculty and administrators to develop content for marketing.
· Supports the efforts of the marketing and communication team.
· Proofreads and edits material.
· Assists in creating speeches and correspondences.
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related major.
· 1-3 years work experience at an ad agency, public relations firm, or related field, experience in
higher education preferred.

· Collaborative team player, with the ability to work well with staff, faculty and administrators.
· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
· Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
· Strong communications and research skills.
· Fluent in current social media marketing, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and
