This position will be based on our campus in Cambridge, MA, in a hybrid work environment.
Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) comprises the University Development Office (UDO), Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Development, AA&D Resources, and the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA). There is a unique relationship between the University and the FAS fundraising operations, resulting from a long history in which University fundraising ultimately grew out of College fundraising.
AA&D Resources AA&D Resources encompasses teams that support all units across AA&D plus all schools and units across the University. AA&D Resources includes Technology and Support Services, Business Process and Operations, Alumni and Development Services (ADS), Administration and Finance, Events, Communications Creative Services, Research and Prospect Management, Human Resources, and the AA&D Talent Program.
DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: The Creative and Communications Services team is a full-service, inhouse agency committed to providing top-tier, award-winning creative assets, and collaborative program management that works to advance the mission of the Harvard Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) department to our AA&D partners to meet their strategic, marketing, and communications needs. We endeavor to be trusted partners that deliver innovative and exceptional work, creative solutions, and outstanding experiences by continually measuring the engagement outcomes of our efforts.
POSITION SUMMARY: The AA&D Creative Services team is seeking a full-time position focused on managing the production of print, event collateral, and direct marketing mailings for the Harvard Affairs and Development office—as well as managing the system administration of our digital asset management platform, Workfront/DAM. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to partner with a team of creative professionals and project managers on compelling projects and contribute innovative solutions to our work. This person will be organized and proactive, have excellent attention to detail, and work both quickly and efficiently.

Comfort with digital/e-publishing.
Demonstrated ability to be highly organized, detail oriented, deadline driven and extremely proactive.

Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously while adhering to internal processes in an agile environment.

Able to complete assignments independently and with minimum supervision.
Experience with high-level brands preferred.
Excellent computer skills, including skills using a PC and Macintosh with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Comfort with content management systems and proficiency in Workfront or other project management software preferred.
A desire to explore new skills and technologies.
Working Conditions
Position requires on-campus hybrid schedule.
