Direct and manage all aspects of NCAA Division I Field Hockey Program. Coach and develop student-athletes to achieve their full potential through positive communication, recruit prospects who are a good fit academically and athletically; support and advance student-athlete well-being; effectively supervise and mentor assistant coaches and; maintain academic integrity of program; operate program within NCAA, University and Conference guidelines; demonstrate commitment to department mission and core values; participate in public relation activities; schedule non-conference games, oversee program budget and assist with fundraising as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of seven years of successful coaching experience on the NCAA intercollegiate level required; head coaching experience preferred; Division I experience preferred. Commitment to academic integrity and to NCAA, conference and University policies required.

Academic Commitment: Work collaboratively with Student-Athlete Support Services staff to support appropriate academic goals for student-athletes. Enforce/support rules regarding academic performance. | Cooperate with department staff and faculty on academic matters.

Program Management: Adhere to all NCAA, conference and University policies and procedures when | recruiting. | Demonstrate effective utilization of scholarship funds and monitor use. Communicate effectively with staff and student-athletes | Motivate athletes and instill a positive attitude with them and staff
Public Relation & Fundraising Skills: Promote community involvement/service within program. | Support and actively participate in fund-raising opportunities.
Training & Techniques of Coaching: Apply knowledge of skills, techniques and rules of the sport. | Assist athletes in maximizing their potential. | Demonstrate the ability to evaluate performance and correct as needed. | Develop positive team spirit and morale. | Enforce team rules, maintain consistent discipline appropriately.
