The Bryn Mawr School is seeking a part-time Website Manager who will help advance the school’s goals and vision online. This position presents an opportunity for a dynamic, creative professional to play a central role in showcasing one of the leading independent schools in the area.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications and Strategic Institutional Marketing, the Website Manager will work closely with both IT and communications/marketing professionals to help articulate and promote Bryn Mawr’s mission, strategic goals, and institutional brand. A qualified candidate must be a versatile team member, strong writer, and creative thinker who can tackle our wide variety of work from concept to execution. A hybrid work environment is optional for this position.
Strategic oversight and daily maintenance of the school website, including content development and management, design, and functionality;
Understand and implement SEO & accessibility principles;
Manage the Bryn Mawr Portals (private side of the website) including calendar events, documents, and announcements;
Leverage analytics and use similar measurement tools to inform strategic website recommendations and decisions;
Work collaboratively across school divisions and departments, including Admissions, Athletics, Advancement, Arts, College Counseling, Summer Programs, and academic divisions, to ensure accurate digital content supports school branding and marketing strategies;
Partner with academic divisions, external programs, and staff to produce interactive solutions in support of school operations and programs;
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, social media, writing, or another relevant field.
Experience required in design/website software and content management systems; familiarity with Blackbaud education platforms strongly preferred.
Excellent copywriting, design and editing skills, samples will be requested.
Previous work in an educational setting is a plus.
