Under the direction of the Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer, the Business Development Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and marketing coordination necessary in the development, management, and implementation of the programs, projects and activities related to employee engagement. This position functions independently and requires the ability to work well with others, manage and meet deadlines and commitments and to orchestrate multiple projects and responsibilities successfully.
Required: Bachelor's degree; a focus in Public Relations, Marketing/Advertising, Communication Studies, Human Resources, or another related degree is preferred
Required: Knowledge of basic marketing and communication principles including an understanding of traditional, digital, and broadcast media. Demonstrate knowledge and extensive experience with event management of small size (dozens attending) and large size (hundreds attending) events. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with social media management, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Yelp, and Google+. Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office, and Adobe Photoshop. Demonstrated experience with website content management, and a strong understanding of utilizing HTML code. Ability to work extensive hours, including nights and weekends, on an as-needed basis.
Valid CA Drivers License and proof of automotive insurance
