It is within this spirit that Citizen Relations is looking to fill the role of Senior Director—a position giving a successful candidate the opportunity to have an indelible impact on how the agency continues to connect iconic brands and citizens, often through the telling of stories that inspire action. This person will work on big consumer brands in the personal care and fashion sectors.

The Senior Director will be part of a growing team driven by a collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit. They will partner with creative and strategic specialists, presenting concrete campaign results against objectives. The successful incumbent will serve as lead day-to-day client contact for medium and/or multiple small accounts, building and nurturing client relationships while supporting their teams and management. They will take action while delegating appropriately in alignment with team members’ skills and growth needs. The successful candidate will drive the organic growth of accounts, also contributing to new business development by pursuing leads and developing campaigns. Finally, they will possess a thorough command of the social media and digital world, from evolving social web to mobile tools and trends.

The individual most likely to achieve success will have a passion for pop culture, social, and sports, working with precision and care for iconic brands. Guided by DEIA principles, the Senior Director will have interest and passion in training others and building knowledge across the organization. The successful candidate will ideally have a BS or BA in Public Relations or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience in communications marketing. They will bring a strong track record of media relations results and an eagerness to build new relationships with key journalists and media outlets. In addition to these abilities, they will have excellent leadership and teamwork skills as well as the ability to multitask and work independently. Finally, the incumbent will bring a natural inclination towards entrepreneurism, with analytical skills and the ability to write both strategically and creatively.
