This class is the second level in the Office of Purchasing series. The incumbent is responsible for the operation of the Print Shop as well as the Mail Room duties.

1. Receive print jobs online and in-person.
2. Operate the commercial printer to fulfill requests and submit proofs, if needed, for approval.
3. Collate, staple, bind, cut, hole punch, fold or package print projects.
4. Prepare and place print jobs for interoffice delivery.
5. Receive and sign for incoming packages from freight carriers, keep records of incoming packages, and prepare for courier delivery.
6. Receive and sort incoming mail by person/department/location for pick-up.
7. Receive and process outgoing mail through postage meter machine ensuring proper postage guidelines for mailing,
8. Perform various clerical duties including creating billing invoices for print jobs, assisting with maintaining and inventorying paper stock, and maintaining a current employee mail list.
9. Assist, as needed, when the Purchasing Specialist or Courier is absent or as needed in the Central Office Services department.
10. Perform other related duties of a comparable level/type, as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Training and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months related experience.

Preferred Education and/or Training and Experience: Direct experience with printing is preferred. Prior knowledge of commercial printing and postage meter operation would be beneficial.
