The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking a Membership Coordinator to provide administrative support with an opportunity for growth within the membership department. Responsibilities will include supporting the membership team by preparing memos, briefs, updating financials, and managing internal and external meetings. This position is ideal for an organized self-starter who can multi-task and manage projects in support of the Membership team and all membership initiatives. The position represents the NAM at all levels both internally and externally. Excellent interpersonal skills a must!

• The Membership Coordinator will support the sales team to partner success, with an opportunity for growth into an individual territory or account management focused role.
• Work in a team environment to help develop and execute service and growth strategies that drive the business forward, with a focus on a sales target.
• Play an integral role in strengthening relationships with partner institutions and membership companies.
• In partnership with team, assist in the development of outreach strategies for interactions with member executives.
• Meet/exceed monthly meeting outbound call targets.
• Respond to inbound and outbound requests membership requests and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner; escalate to team, as necessary.
• Schedule and prepare team members for meetings with membership companies.

We are Looking for Team Players who Meet the Following Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be articulate and possess the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
• Ability to work face-to-face with senior level executives.
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal skills.
• Must be skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility to manage under competing priorities, changing priorities and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and proactive in approach to work.
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule occasionally.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office, internet, and databases. Prior Salesforce experience a plus.
