Creative writer and detail-oriented planner who will provide general communication support for the Internal Communication department, supporting enterprise-wide communications initiatives. Complete writing assignments and coordinate the editing/distribution of communications to employees and field members. Collaborate with business partners and communication consultants to develop and implement communications plans.
Develop, manage and implement communications and communication plans
Write, edit and facilitate approval of compelling, relevant and timely communications and web content.
Draft and execute communications plans based on business objectives and input from subject matter experts and business leaders.
Coordinate plans with other key business initiatives.
Ensure consistency of messages across communications channels.
Provide communications support to meet business objectives
Proactively work with business partners to understand objectives and identify primary communications needs.
Drive business priorities by crafting engaging communications that are clear and concise, on-message, consistent in tone and align with internal communications styles/standards.
Provide ad hoc communications support and expertise to address unforeseen issues and opportunities.
Advise and influence business teams, delivering communications strategies that match the initiative's goals or call to action.
Review and update online content regularly to ensure it is current and relevant.
Proactively partner with internal editorial team to ensure communications and plans fit with the company's editorial calendar.
Evaluate the effectiveness of communications in meeting our audiences' and business partners' needs.
Bachelors degree or equivalent
1-3 years relevant experience
Minimum of one year of progressive experience in communications or public relations.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
Self-motivated to seek out additional projects.
Willing to voice opinion and provide communications counsel.
