The Teaching and Learning Lab (TLL), supports and develops innovative and effective approaches, across modalities, to teaching and learning at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The successful candidate will be passionate about exploring and creating original multimedia content including video, animations, and graphics, solving complex problems, and developing educational content in support of our strategic commitment to deliver high-quality educational experiences that transform lives across diverse communities of students. Working in collaboration with the existing media team, the Media Producer will be expected to work on multiple projects and tasks concurrently. He/she/they will be responsible for the development of video and rich media content that is high quality, pedagogically sound, engaging, and visually dynamic. This position will require frequent collaboration with faculty members, subject matter experts, business managers and learning designers to plan for video capture, perform video editing and complete post-production within agreed upon timelines and budgets. This position requires an established video professional with immersive storytelling capabilities, and strong filming, editing, and technical skills. What We Offer

Works collaboratively with media team and learning designers and technologists to develop style guides and templates to make existing processes more efficient

Has primary responsibility for publishing digital content as well as keeping source content safe and organized
Has strong understanding of video technologies, asset and rights management, and emerging video platforms
Understands asset management from multiple perspectives to assist with improving workflows
Additional Duties:
Contributes to the collaborative, entrepreneurial culture of the Teaching and Learning Lab
Interfaces with team to plan, prioritize, and implement project objectives
Represents the TLL both within and outside of HGSE and the University
Engages in continuous development regarding the scholarship of teaching and learning, best practices of educational media design and strategy, and the state of current and emerging learning technologies
Participates in Teaching and Learning Lab functions, including coaching students in a Practicum course
This is a two year term position with possibility of renewal

Bachelor's degree
Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience filming, editing, and producing original video and audio content
Experience with Final Cut Pro X or similar software and the overall video editing process

Master's degree in education, communications, or a related field
