Summary
National trade association representing manufacturers of paints and coatings seeks an individual to serve as Assistant Director of Environment. Key issues would include hazardous waste management, sustainability issues, and air quality (VOC) regulations. Candidate should preferably have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or chemistry and 2 – 5 years of experience in industry, trade associations, or the government. Requires experience with local, state or federal regulations, including analysis, data development, and collaboration on advocacy activities before regulatory agencies or legislative bodies. Ability to travel required.

Location
This position is located at ACA headquarters in Washington, DC and will operate within a hybrid work environment (working both onsite and remotely).
