PATRON LOYALTY MANAGER Reports to: Director of Marketing & Development
The Patron Loyalty Manager is an integral staff member of the Lexington Philharmonic, ensuring that LexPhil patrons and donors receive excellent and friendly customer service, from first contact through follow-up after LexPhil concerts and events. As the manager of LexPhil’s ticketing and donor database system (Patron Manager/PM), this role is the first point of contact with LexPhil patrons. The Patron Loyalty Manager provides all LexPhil staff with data, reports and strategy that support LexPhil program participation, audience building, and fundraising activities.
Someone who is passionate about helping audiences and donors have positive experiences with live orchestral music will love this job. This person helps the public understand what to expect at a LexPhil event, making our experiences approachable to die-hard music fans and skeptical first-comers alike. They give confidence to someone who experiences barriers to participation, such as a disability, by providing kind and concierge level service. They guide individuals to understand how important their support is to the organization. This person operates their areas of responsibility by fostering and rewarding loyalty, rather than simply making transactions.
EXPERIENCE & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s in arts administration, marketing, public relations, or related field.
Deep appreciation of the role and value of the arts in a vibrant community.
Experience in Data Management and/or Box Office systems such as Patron Manager, Salesforce, or other CRM systems.
Experience working in Box Office, Front of House management, or adjacent roles.
Experience working with annual fund/individual giving campaigns.
Experience in marketing, development, and/or performing arts preferred.
Experience managing volunteers or interns.
Track record of excellent customer service skills.
Willingness to look outside of the orchestral industry and facilitate change in event experience.
Creative with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
Broad knowledge of current customer service, customer experience, and marketing trends.
Strong writing and communications skills, and the ability to tailor messaging based on audience.
Reliable transportation to and from work and events.
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and be on one's feet for long periods of time.
Some evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability required.
