OverviewNYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Assistant Director, Instructional Media Production in Stern’s Learning Science Lab. The Assistant Director will be the primary team member responsible for the production and quality of instructional media for teaching and learning.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Creating engaging digital media for learning.
- Ensuring all instructional media produced by the Learning Science Lab meets high standards for professional quality.
- Project managing instructional media projects to ensure that production schedules and budget targets are successfully met.
- Overseeing the quality of work produced by Learning Science Lab team members, contractors, and part-time student employees.
- Developing and maintaining a digital media asset library.
Responsibilities- A bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience in digital media production for learning.
- Extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud media production tools including Premier, After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience working in a shared digital storage environment, or experience publishing digital media for integration within a Content or Learning Management System (SCORM, LTI, xAPI etc), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Competency working within all contemporary consumer computing and mobile operating systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A bachelor's and/or master's Degree in Media Production is preferred.
