Senior Registration Representative
Responsible for accurate and timely registration of all areas within Patient Access including but not limited to: Emergency Room, Out-Patients, Pre-Registration, USA scheduling, Medical Necessity, and Admission coordination procedures. In addition to performing all duties of Registration Representatives II, is knowledgeable of basic Medical Record protocol in relation to Patient Registration and related systems. Will serve as the lead and therefore, subject matter expert for all things Patient Access related. Although not a supervisor or manager, serves as point person to convey staff concerns to the leadership team. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.Serves as resource to support handling on-shift matters such as, staffing issues, escalations, and other staff questions or concern
