Serves as the company's internal digital communications manager and is responsible for overseeing the company's internal communication platforms with a primary focus on governance, content strategy, training, and onboarding.
Other duties include analyzing engagement data and identifying trends/interactions.
Oversees both strategy and development of internal communication materials (e.g., intranet pages, presentations, email communications, social media content), with minimal day-to-day oversight.
Brings in-depth knowledge of the technology to develop communication strategies that align with business goals and serves as primary consultant/advisor to business leads.
Manages projects in coordination with cross-functional partners (e.g. Marketing, Human Resources, Digital & Technology, etc.).
Will also be pulled into other technology projects or initiatives related to internal communications (SharePoint, Yammer, Viva, Stream, and other third party technologies)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops communications plans and programming in support of the business/internal departments. Work may be written word or visual or both; and/or technical in nature.
Advises on a variety of internal communications channels to support program goals, including yammer, viva, stream, email, intranet, media walls, etc.
Responsible for developing analytics and reporting. Tracks engagement with content and reports on analytics.
Assist with other technology projects and initiatives for the internal communications team
Responsible for keeping up with the latest Microsoft release schedule and advising on enhancements or break fixes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, corrective action and termination. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
