The Director, Brand Management develops and implements strategies to strengthen the Fiserv corporate brand platform globally and positioning, and drives awareness, understanding and application of brand standards across all regions, cultures, and time zones. This creative marketer will bring to the role a balance of critical thinking, creativity and process discipline, as well as a passion for creating brand ambassadors. This position reports to the VP, Brand and Creative Services. Responsibilities: o Lead by example, serving as enthusiastic brand ambassador to drive awareness, understanding, adoption and support for Fiserv brand promise and standards o Develop, drive and maintain brand standards for Fiserv and sub-brands, creating new standards where needed and regularly reviewing and updating existing ones Drive development of standards documentation and implement regular standards review process Define and implement Brand Review process that is clearly understood by all key stakeholders Define strategy for, write and publish regular Brand Updates to associates o Drive development and regular updates of Fiserv corporate materials, such as collateral templates, presentation templates and other foundational materials o Work in collaboration with Corporate Communications to establish a framework for regularly communicating brand news and develop brand-level marketing campaigns as necessary o Facilitate branding/naming process for Fiserv B2B and D2C solutions, including Drive process awareness and discipline, branding/naming development, and definition of usage standards Regular review, update and dissemination of processes Implement strategies for ongoing management of new brands, including the establishment of brand roadmaps, attributes and visual identity standards Ensure new brands/names align with Fiserv brand architecture and our functional naming approach o Work in partnership with Corporate Real Estate to establish and maintain brand standards for physical locations o Support development of corporate brand platform and positioning, and enhance its application across all strategy and execution o In collaboration with Market Research, recommend brand research/measurement tools to understand positioning, awareness, equity, preference and engagement for internal and external target audiences o Ensure brand voice, messaging and visual identity are consistent throughout Fiserv materials o Drive continuous performance improvement on existing brand programs o Foster a spirit of quality and creative excellence o Identify and share brand best practices o Manage the Agency Partnership program, ensuring creative and editorial agencies are on boarded effectively and maintain a high service level, delivering at the highest standard o Lead M&A integration efforts specific to Brand Management Basic Qualifications: o Minimum of 10 years of experience in brand management function o Bachelor's degree required (marketing, business, or other related field) o 10 years of experience in brand management and creative services, including brand architecture development and positioning o Experience managing direct reports o Proven experience in driving communications campaigns that drive business results o Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, including some weekends Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: o Understanding of brand management function as it relates to client experience/perception and associate engagement o Understanding of the financial services industry and specific lines of business o Proven ability to manage multiple projects/processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment o Proven ability to understand complex business concepts o A well-organized professional who possesses a strategic focus and detail-oriented perspective o Ability to switch from creative thinking to process rigor and apply both effectively o Ability to translate ideas into effective communications programs that support brand leadership
